a beautiful flower arrangement

I went to my father's home in the afternoon. When I did housework as usual, some goods reached me. The goods were a beautiful flower arrangement from my friend Mika and her mother for my mother. Because the first anniversary of my mother's death will come soon. I decorated it in my mother's altar room at once. I was really happy, so I took a picture of it.

a sample

I made a lavender cleansing lotion's sample for my next lesson. I didn't like the first sample, so I changed the recipe for the lotion. I uesd strong lavender tea and baking soda to make the lotion. And then I put some drops of my favorite essential oils into the lotion. I liked the second sample, so I decided the recipe to use for my lesson.

My lesson

I gave a lesson on aromatherapy and a hand sewing lesson in the afternoon. First, I taught my students how to make a potpourri. And then I taught them how to sew a doll. While cahatting they enjoyed sewing. After the lesson, we took a rest with a cup of herbal tea and a cake. One member was absent and one member left my lesson early, but the lesson was really active all of the time, too.

some rape blossoms

I  went to my father's home in the afternoon. I enjoyed shopping at a department store on my way to my father's home. And then I did the housework and I cooked food for Gonta as usual. I walked him to a river near my father's home. I found some rape blossoms at the river bank, so I took a picture of them.

preparation of my lesson

I  prepared my hand sewing lesson all afternoon. I finished to cut many pieces of cloth. Then I cut threads of embroidery for each of my students. I packed them for my students. I finally finished to prepare the lesson, so it relived me. I'm going to give the lesson on Friday of next week.

in Nihama

I got up at 5:30 a.m. I helped my husband's mother to prepare the ceremony. She taught me how to make a rice cake (=dango) offerings. So I made 40 small rice cakes, and then I made 2 offerings of them. She and I were really busy to prepare. Many relatives came home one after another. A monk came home after 9:00a.m,and then the first anniversary of my huaband's   father's death was held. After the ceremony, many relatives and we went to visit my husband's ancestral tomb. Then they and we had a special lunch at a Japanese restaurant. After lunch, we went back home and we cleared up the room where the ceremony was held. My husband and I went out of my husband's mother's home at 4:30p.m. We were really tired, so we almost dozed off in the train. We got home at 0:00a.m. I felt that today was a really long day.

in Nihama

My husband and I went to his mother's home which is in Nihama of Ehime Prefecture. Because the first anniversary of his father's death will be held in his mother's house. I took a picture of some beautiful scenery from the Seto Ohashi bridge from the train window. It took about 7 hours to get home, so we were really tired. His mother cooked many dishes for us, so I was full up. Every dish was delicious. After supper, I washed many dishes and I helped her to prepare my husband's father's ceremony. And then she and I enjoyed having a cup of coffee and some sweets until late.
