We walked and walked.

I met my friend Satsuki and her daughter at the station in Kawagoe at the ticket gates at 11:20 a.m. We visited the memorial service tower where my mother's ashes rest. We offered some small bunch of flowers and a few incense sticks there. Then we had lunch and we were strolling along the street. we sometimes dropped in some stores and we sometimes took some pictures. We visited a museum, a clock tower and Candy Store Alley. We walked and walked, so we were really tired, but we spent a good time.

Some sweets and a nice scarf

I went to my father's home with my friend Mika after we had lunch at a restaurant. When we got home, Gonta looked at us and he was in high spirits. Then she gave me some sweets, a nice scarf and a bracelet. I was happy and I liked them. She looked at my mother's album while I did housework and I cooked food for Gonta. Then we walked Gonta. He sometimes looked at her and he sometimes looked at me. He looked happy. We got home, he fawned on her. She and I played with him for a little time.

A potted hydrangea

My student Keiko came to my home in the evening. She gave me a potted hydrangea. It was so beautiful. She was worried about me after she heard the news of my mother's death, so she bought it and she cheered me up. I was glad about her kindness. I put it on the balcony and I watered it.

New bicycle

My husband and I rode on our new folding bicycles in the afternoon. I didn't get used to riding my new bicycle at first. But I got used to riding it at once. We enjoyed riding our bicycle. I'll go to a lot of places by bicycle.

17 packages

I sent 17 packages to my mother's friends. I couldn't carry them, so I gave them to a clerk of an express courier company. The packages were keepsakes from my mother. I wrote some messages on message cards to each of them.

2 pouches

I sewed 2 pouches for my mother's friends in the afternoon. My mother had asked me to sew those before she died. She chose the cloth, and she cut it, then she sewed them. But her disease got worse, she couldn't finish her work. I didn't know how to sew the pouch, so I asked her its the way she showed me how to sew before she died. I finally finished sewing them, so I was happy and I took a picture of them.

4 frames

I put many mother's pictures in a frame. I decorated 4 frames. Each theme was "Mountain - climbing","Friends","My mother and Gonta","My mother and my trip". I have many good memories of my mother. I'm going to hang the frames on my mother's altar's room wall tomorrow.
