The fair

My husband and I went to the Hokaido fair in Ikebukuro Tobu department store. We stood in a line to eat chinese noodles at a shop in the fair. It took 40 minutes to wait for our turn. The chinese noodles were delicious, I guessed it was worth to wait a long time. I bought a pack of the chinese noodles and a bottle of spice. Whenever the department store hold the fair, we enjoy eating and shopping in there.

Walking

I went to my father's home in the afternoon. I did the housework and I cooked food for Gonta as usual. I walked him to a path through rice fields after a long time. The scenery was really beautiful, so I took many pictures of it. We enjoyed walking for about 1 hour.

My lesson

I gave a lesson on aromatherapy and a hand sewing lesson in the afternoon. First, I taught my student how to make a gel cream for hair. All of my students were interested in the chemical reaction, so they really enjoyed making it. Next, I taught them how to sew a patchwork pouch. It was difficult to sew, so I suggested a supplementary lesson next month. All of them were very pleased at my suggestion and they agreed with me. After the lesson, we enjoyed talking with a cup of herbal tea and some sweets.

I went to my father's home after lunch. I did the housework and I cooked food for Gonta. I walked him and I played with him. I went back home at 8:00p.m. I cooked supper and I had it, then I prepared for my sewing lesson again. I finally finished preparing at night. I was really busy all day.

I stayed at home all day. I prepared for my sewing lesson in the afternoon. I traced 180 parts on many pieces of cloth with a hexagnal pattern, and I traced 12 parts on two pieces of cloth with a rectangular pattern. After supper, I cut them out. But my thumb went numb from using the scissors so much, I stopped cutting. I'm going to do it tomorrow.

a sample for my lesson

I stayed at home all day. I made a patchwork pouch as a sample for my sewing lesson. I started sewing it 2 days ago. It was a little difficult to sew, but I enjoyed sewing. I finally finished making it in the evening. It was a relief for me.

The Bon Festival

The Bon Festival started from today, so I visited the memorial service tower where my mother's ashes rest in the Saiun Temple. Then I went to my father's home. I decorated a table with some flowers and some goods for the Bon Festival in my mother's altar room. Then I did the housework and I cooked food for Gonta as usual. Gonta saw me for the first time in one week, so he fawned me more than usual.
