Shopping

My husband and I went to Ikebukuro to buy our christmas presents. He bought himself a digital media player with a TV. I bought myself a humidification machine. The store was crowded, so we had to stand in line to pay for them. There were many people in Ikebukuro, too. After shopping, we went home soon by bus.

a tiny teddy bear

I sewed a tiny teddy bear which is the sample for my teddy bear making lesson in the afternoon. I finished it, so it relieved me. Because I'll give a teddy bear making lesson tomorrow. I took some pictures of it.

Ginkgo festival

My husband and I went to Meiji Jingu Gaien Ginkgo festival in the afternoon. The Ginkgo trees leaves had turned a more perfect yellow than 2 weeks ago. He was intent on taking pictures of them. We walked from there to Yoyogi, and then we went to Ikebukuro by train. After diner, we walked from Ikebukuro to our house. Maybe we walked more than ten thousand steps.

One day trip

My mother and I got up early, and then we went to Hakone. We dozed off in the train, so we felt that we got to Hakoneyumoto to station in a short time. We went to the Hakone Glass Forest ( Venetian Glass Museum). I've been there 2 times, but I thought that the museum is a really nice place whenever I go to there. We went to the Hakone begonia garden. We have been there before, but we had not been there in the christmas season before. I was absorbed in taking many pictures there. We were really tired, but we spent a good time. My mother said to me that she would like to go to Hakone next spring.  

Gonta

3 gardeners came to my parent's home in the afternoon. While they were working in the garden, I took Gonta in the entrance. He got into mischief there, so I had to watch him. After the 3 gardeners had left, I took Gonta to the garden. He ran through the garden happily. The garden was really clean.

The Yuzu cake

I went to my parent's home in the afternoon. My mother gave me a cup of  tea and a piece of cake. She told me that she made the cake the day before yesterday. She took a few Yuzu fruits from my Yuzu tree, then she squeezed juice out of a Yuzu and she cut a Yuzu skin. The cake was really good and smelt and was delicious.

Homecoming

My husband and I got home at 8:00 p.m. I felt the time passed in an instant for 4 days. I was satisfied with my travel. I have sore muscles on my legs. Maybe I guess I walked a lot during my travel.

My travel

My husband and I went to the 2/28 peace park in the morning. There were many people who exercised taikyokuken. We visited the museum which is in the park. We had lunch at the most popular restaurant in Taipei. Its' famous for its shouronpou. We had to wait to eat in there about 30 minutes. Every dish was delicious,so we were satisfied with them. We went to Tansei(淡水) which is a town at the mouth of a river. We enjoyed the boat trip down the river. The weather was bad, so the boat rocked on the waves. It was really scary. Then we went to the biggest night market in Taipei by subway. We walked and walked today, too. 

My travel

My husband and I went to the National Palace Museum. There were many old Chinese treasures. For example, many ivory works, many potteries, many pictures and many books were in there. We were in there for about 3 hours. We went to the park (中正紀念公園）. There were many people. The gate was really big, so we were surprised at it. We went to the temple(龍山寺) and we saw many visiting people. The temple was really gorgeous, so I thought that the temple is quite a bit different from Japanese temples. We walked to the night market near the temple. We walked and walked today, too.

My travel

My husband and I got to the Sheraton Taipei hotel at 4:00 p.m. We went out of the hotel at 5:00p.m, then we went to Taipei 101 tower by subway. There was a wonderful night view of the tower from the observatory, so I was deeply impressed with the view. Next we walked to a night market. We walked along the street and we walked and walked. We were really tired so we took a rest at a cafe. I enjoyed talking to the clerk in English. I asked the clerk the way to the station, so she taught it to me kindly. My husband and I dropped in the music shop near our hotel. We enjoyed talking to the clerk in English. We spent a good time.

a tiny teddy bear

My husband and I visited his assistant in hospital which is in Yokohama in the afternoon. We met her and her husband there.We enjoyed talking in a hospital lounge.I gave a tiny teddy bear to her. She was really glad to have it, so I was happy. I sewed it yesterday. It took about 5 hours. I hope she becomes fine.

skirt and vest

My mother gave a skirt and a vest to me. She told me that she sewed them in 3 days. She attached 3 buttons on the vest.She said to me, "I enjoyed using a sewing machine after a long time.I want to make some more clothes."

Christmas goods

My mother and I stopped at a variety store in a department store. We found some really cute Christmas goods there. I liked 2 goods and I bought them. After I got home, I put them on the corner of living room.

Park & Garden

My husband and I went to "Ukima Park". We saw that on a magazine, so we wanted to go there someday. The park has beautiful scenery. I felt the time passed slowly while looking at the scenery. There were many people in the park.After we went out there, we walked and walked. Maybe I guess we were walking for about 1 hour.Next we went to "Yakushi's spring garden". We saw that on the magazine too.The garden is really small but it is really beautiful. 

in kawagoe

It was really fine today, so my mother and I went for a walk to Ichiban Gai which is a town of kawagoe. We had lunch at a seafood restaurant near the Toki no Kane which is a clock tower and a symbol of Kwagoe. We heard the bell ring for the first time. After lunch, we enjoyed shopping. I found a beautiful pendant at a shop. It was really cheap,so I bought it. Then we went to Kashi Ya Yokocho(Candy Store Alley) and I bought some candies at a store.

My Yuzu tree

My mother said to me,"Your memorial Yuzu tree have many fruit. Did you notice that?" I hadn't noticed ,so I went to see the tree in my parent's garden and I took a picture of it. There I took 3 fruits from the tree. When I showed Gonta the fruits, he was interested in them and he smelled them. But he had a fit of sneezing, so he wasn't interested in them. Maybe I guess the fruits of the tree will turn yellow after about 1 month.
