My homework

I made a black bear for my homework after supper. I struggled against sewing it today,too. I finally finished making it at midnight. It was a relief for me.

The rolls

My student Machiko came to my home with her baby in the afternoon. She bought 2 sweet rolls for me on her way to my home. The rolls were really unique and cute, so I took a picture of them after her lesson.

The rice fields

I went to my father's home in the afternoon. I did the housework and I cooked food for Gonta as usual. I walked him to the rice fields for a long time. There were almost no people and cars around the rice fields. The scenery was really beautiful, so I took some pictures. Gonta was in high spirits all the time. I guessed that he likes to walk around the rice fields.

My lesson

I gave a lesson on aromatherapy and a herbal lesson in the afternoon. All of my students enjpyed making lip-balm this time,too. After the lesson, we enjoyed talking with a cup of herbal tea and some sweets.

My homework

I stayed at home all day. I made a black teddy bear for my homework all afternoon. The materials of the soles and palms were leather, so it was too difficult to sew them for me. While sewing I watched my favorite drama series on video which I had recorded. I sometimes stopped sewing the teddybear to read the subtitles. I haven't finished making it yet.

Ginkgo festival

My husband and I went to Meiji Jingu Gaien Ginkgo festival in the afternoon. I'm looking forward to going to the festival every year. Almost all of the Ginkgo leaves turned yellow. He was absorbed in taking the beautiful trees pictures. There were many people and booths at the place. We watched a street performer's performance at the place. We noticed the performer whom we saw there last year. We enjoyed watching the performance this time,too.

My lesson

I  gave a lesson on aromatherapy and a hand sewing lesson in the afternoon. First I taught my students how to make a face pack. All of my students enjoyed making the pack. Next I taught them how to sew a wreath for chiristmas. All of them were abosorbed in sewing the wreath. After the lesson, I made herbal tea for them. We enjoyed talking with a cup of herbal tea and some sweets.

A quilt

I went to my father's home after lunch. I did the housework and I cooked food for Gonta as usual. I found a quilt which my mother had made in my mother's altar room. So I brought it to my home and I decorated it on the wall of the living room.

Cycling

My husband and I went cycling in the afternoon. We had lunch at his favorite chinese noodles shop. And then we continued to go cycling. First we enjoyed cycling around the Imperial Palace. There were many running people and cycling people. Next we enjoyed cycling around the Diet Building. My husband sometimes took some pictures. It took about 5 hours to go to the place and back by bicycle. I was fascinating, but I was really tired.

Gonta

My husband and I went to my father's home in the afternoon. Gonta met my husband after an interval of three weeks, so Gonta wagged his tail with pleasure and he fawned on my husband. We took Gonta to the animal clinic in the evening. He was a little afraid of the eye lotion and he growled a little at it. The vet said to me that Gonta seemed to be used to eye lotion. So the vet recommends me to apply eye lotion in his eyes at home. I'm going to try it next time.

My lesson

I gave a lesson on aromatherapy and a herbal lesson in the afternoon. All of my students enjoyed making a face pack. The face pack was made by very fine clay, a little sandal wood powder, a little honey and water. It helps to keep moisture in the skin. So I think that the face pack helps dried skin in winter.

Festival

My husband and I went to our favorite chinese noodles shop near our home. Then we went to my father's home. I did the housework and I cooked food for Gonta as usual. Then we walked Gonta and we took him to the animal clinic as usual, too. After we said goodbye to Gonta, we went to see Kawagoe festival. We saw many gorgeous floats on the main street in Kwagoe. There were many people and many food stalls on the street. The festival was filled with excitement, so we enjoyed ourselves.

My work

I made a sample for my hand sewing lesson at night. I used many circular patches which my mother had cut out before she passed away. I guessed she wanted to teach how to make a chiristmas wreath with the circular patches in her hand sewing lesson someday. Because I found her note about it recently. So I decided to take it over from her. But I havn't finished making it yet.

My favorite park

It was fine autumn weather today,too. I went to my father's home in the afternoon. I did the housework and I cooked food for Gonta as usual. Then I walked him to my favorite park for a long time. We strolled there for a while, and then we went up a steep flight of stairs in the park. We went to see a life lenghening guardian deity, and then we visited the Atago shrine. We walked for 80 minutes. I was tired, but I enjoyed walking.

The special lunch box

My husband dropped in the Hokkaido fair in a departmentstore on his way home and he bought 2 special steak lunchboxes for supper. It seemed to be delicious, so I took a picture of it. Then we enjoyed eating the lunchbox. It was delicious!

Walking

My husband and I visited the memorial service tower where my mother's ashes rest in Saiun temple. Then we went to my father's home. Gonta was fine and his left eye was getting better than the previous Saturday. I did the housework and I cooked food for Gonta as usual. Then we walked him to a path through rice fields. The view was nice, so my husband took a few pictures.

My lesson

I gave a lesson on aromatherapy and a hand sewing lesson in the afternoon. First I taught my students how to make the gel cream for eyes. All of them made the gel for the first time, so they were very excited. Next I taught them how to sew a patchwork stuffed toy cat. While sewing we enjoyed chatting.

The sample

I stayed at home all day. I made a sample for my hand sewing lesson. First, I struggled to choose some pieces of cloth for the sample. Then I made it. I finally finished making it late night. It relieved me.

Cycling

My husband and I went to a chinese noodles shop by bicycle. We visited the shop for the first time, but the chinese noodles were too bad. I guessed I'll never go to the shop. Then we went cycling. I found a nice cafe, so we took a rest there. I was really tired, but my husband wanted to ride on the bicycle more. Then I kept cycling reluctantly with him. We finally reached Asaka city, so he decided to return to our home. It was a relief for me. It took about 4 hours to go to the city and back by bicycle. I was too tired to cook dinner, so we went to the korean barbecued meat shop near our home.

Trip

Today was the last day of our trip. We got up early in the morning, too. We got on a ship to Sakai port. Then we strolled along Mizuki Shigeru Road. There were many shops and bronze statues about his famous cartoon characters along the street. We enjoyed shopping and eating. Then we went to the Matsue station by bus. It took about 30 minutes. We took a rest at a cafe, and then we got on a bus to Izumo airport. We got home at 8:30 p.m. I had many good experiences and memories in the trip.
