a cooking lesson

I went to my friend's home to take a cooking lesson in the morning. She taught her students and me how to cook, "Baked sardines and tomato with bread crumbs, parmesan cheese and parsley", "crushed cold tofu with ginger, green onion, hone wort and red pepper", "buck wheat with tomato, perilla and Japanese radish sauce". All of the cooking was for summer, besides all of them were delicious and healthy. We took several pictures of them as usual. My friend served Italian dessert which she'd cooked for us. I heard from her that the dessert is popular in Italy. All of the cooking and desserts were delicious, so we enjoyed eating and talking. I'm looking forward to the next lesson.

Gonta

I had lunch at my favorite cafe on my way to my father's home. Then I did the housework and I cooked food for Gonta as usual. I walked him for about 30 minutes. It was really hot and humid, so he didn't want to walk for long distance. After we went back home, I played with him a lot as usual.

My lesson

I gave a lesson on aromatherapy and a hand-sewing lesson in the afternoon. I taught my students how to make a cologne and a bookmark this time, too. They enjoyed making the colognes and the bookmarks all the time. Then I taught them how to sew a stuffed toy dachshund again. It was a little bit complicated to sew, so they were sewing it carefully. But while sewing they enjoyed talking all the time.

 

My lesson

My students came to my home in the afternoon. I gave a lesson on aromatherapy and a herbal lesson in the afternoon. I taught them how to make a cologne for refreshment. They enjoyed choosing 6 kinds of essential oils from my stuff, and they enjoyed making the cologne. Then I taught them how to make a bookmark. While recalling their cologne's fragrance, they made a bookmark. They enjoyed making the bookmarks, too. Their colognes and bookmarks were really wonderful. After the lesson, I served a cup of herbal tea and some sweets to them. We enjoyed talking for a while.

 

 

a sample for my lesson

I made a sample for my next  hand-sewing lesson. I referred to a small pouch which my mother had made for me. I don't have the pattern for the pouch, so I made it again and again. The pouch was made of 3 ovals, so I drew several ovals with a compass. I chose an oval from them, and I sewed it to make the pouch. After supper, I kept sewing the pouch. I finally finished making it around midnight. It was a relief for me, and I took several pictures of it.
