The sample for my lesson

I  stayed at home all day. I sewed the sample for my sewing lesson. I refered to my mother's paper this time, too. The samples are a couple of stuffed toy cats displayed on Girl's Festival day. I started to sew them from yesterday night, but I finished to sew them in the evening. Then I traced some parts on some pieces of cloth with their patterns, and I cut them out for my students. I cut threads of embroidery for each of my students. And then I packed them for my students.

a temple

My husband and I visited a temple called Gokokuji. Then we drew a fortune slip. His paper was very good luck, but my paper was not so good luck. I checked the reverse of my paper, too. It was written in English this year, too.
It says,
"40.Not-So-Good Fortune
People are eager to glad you on in many of your endeavors, but this could bring trouble; there are helpful sorts and not-so helpful ones, so be careful and pay attention, and in handling the world things will become clear to you. With the protection of the Divine you can walk the road of good fortune."
