My lesson

I gave a lesson and  herbal lesson in the afternoon. I lectured them about Japanese cedar and potpourri. Then I taught them how to make potpourri. They enjoyed making it. Both of them potpourri were wonderful. After the lesson, we enjoyed talking with a cup of herbal tea and a small cake.

preparation of my lesson

I stayed at home all day. I prepared for my hand sewing lesson after lunch. While watching TV I traced 75 parts on many pieces of cloth with 5 patterns, and I cut them out. Then I had a cup of coffee and I ate  a Japanese cake. I took a rest for a few minutes, and then I kept working it. I packed them into a plastic bag for each of my students. I finished preparing everything, so it was a relief for me. Then I cooked supper.

making hand cream

I made a beeswax cream in the evening. Because I had run out of hand cream. I put some beeswax and some Shea butter into a beaker, and I placed the beaker in a pan with boiled water. I mixed and melted the ingredients, then I put some sweet almond oil into the beaker. I mixed them again, and I poured them into a cream container. After about five minutes, I added a few drops of chamomile roman and lavender essential oils in the container. I mixed them gently. I'm going to use the cream before I go to bed.
