preparation of my lesson

I went to my father's home after lunch. I did the housework and I cooked food for Gonta. I walked him and I played with him. I went back home at 8:00p.m. I cooked supper and I had it, then I prepared for my sewing lesson again. I finally finished preparing at night. I was really busy all day.

I stayed at home all day. I prepared for my sewing lesson in the afternoon. I traced 180 parts on many pieces of cloth with a hexagnal pattern, and I traced 12 parts on two pieces of cloth with a rectangular pattern. After supper, I cut them out. But my thumb went numb from using the scissors so much, I stopped cutting. I'm going to do it tomorrow.

a sample for my lesson

I stayed at home all day. I made a patchwork pouch as a sample for my sewing lesson. I started sewing it 2 days ago. It was a little difficult to sew, but I enjoyed sewing. I finally finished making it in the evening. It was a relief for me.

The Bon Festival

The Bon Festival started from today, so I visited the memorial service tower where my mother's ashes rest in the Saiun Temple. Then I went to my father's home. I decorated a table with some flowers and some goods for the Bon Festival in my mother's altar room. Then I did the housework and I cooked food for Gonta as usual. Gonta saw me for the first time in one week, so he fawned me more than usual.

My husband and I got on train in the morning. We got off Dondaemum History & Culture Park station, and we went to see Dongdaemum. I took many pictures of it, then we enjoyed walking along the Cheonggyecheon river for a little minute. The river was really beautiful, so I took many pictures of it. After we had lunch at a fast food shop, we went back our hotel by train. We watched TV in our room until checkout time. We got to Incheon International Airport at 3:30 p.m. We enjoyed shopping and we took a rest at a cafe until our flight. We got home at 11:00p.m. We spent a good time together during our travel.

There was heavy rain in the morning. It couldn't be helped, so my husband and I went to the coex mall. We window-shopped for a while, then we went to the coex aquqrium. He was really absorbed in taking many pictures there. I had never seen the leaf fish until today, so I gazed at them. The sign said the leaf fish is a kind of sea horse. After lunch, it stopped raining. We went to Anguk by train, and we went to Changdeokgung. I guessed that it was a little bit similar to a Japanese temple. There were many beautiful structures in the large ground. I took many pictures of the structures. Then we went to the Hansangoo Embroidery Museum. I enjoyed watching the video how to sew and I enjoyed watching many works, but he seemed to be bored. When we went out there, it began to rain. It rained gradually hard, so we took a rest at anice cafe. When it rained a little, we enjoyed walking again.

My husband and I walked from our hotel to the Olympic Park. It took 20 minutes to walk. The park was really beautiful, and it was really large. We enjoyed walking for about one hour in the park. It was a scorching hot day, but there were many people who were enjoying walking. Then we went to Myeong-dong by train. We had lunch at a rice porridge shop which I had checked on the Internet. All of the dishes were delicious, so I was satisfied with them. Then we went to the N Seoul tower. We enjoyed looking at beautiful scenery in the observatory. Then we went to Namdaemum Market and we went to see a statue and the gate of the Gyeongbokgung on foot. We walked and walked for 3 hours. I was really tired but I enjoyed walking. We had dinner at a grilled meat restaurant which I had checked on the Internet. All dishes were delicious, so I ate too much. We went back to our hotel by train. It took 30 minutes.

My husband and I got to the Lotte Hotel world in Seoul at 5:30p.m. We wandered around the Hotel and he took several pictures. Then we played a lot in the Lotte world. I guessed that the Lotte world similar to the Tokyo Disney Land. We dropped in the folk museum in the Lotte world, too. There were many wonderful miniature old age Korean towns. We enjoyed looking at them. We went out of the Lotte world at 10:30p.m, then we bought some food at a convenience store on our way to our hotel.

My friend

I met my friend Chiharu and her second son in Kourakuen at 10:00a.m. She is my old friend from university, and she lives in Fukushima prefecture. After lunch, Chiharu and I saw her second son off at Akihabara. Because he joined with her brother and her first son. Then she asked me to go to Nippori with her, so we went there. She started to learn how to sew patchwork recently. There are many fablic shops in Nippori,so we enjoyed shopping. We were tired to walk, so we took a rest at a coffee shop. We met together for the first time in eight years, so we enjoyed much talking. We spent a wonderful time together.
