a cooking lesson

I went to my friend home to take a cooking lesson in the morning. She taught her students and me how to make "Seafood and soy-milk gratin", "Mizuna and pork stir-fry"and "Marinated smoked salmon and some vegetables." We enjoyed cooking and we took several pictures of them. All of the menus were stylish this time, too. We enjoyed eating and talking all the time.

a teddy bear making lesson

I took a teddy bear making lesson in the morning. My teacher taught her students and me how to make a pixie hat and a cape for a small size teddy bear. I finished making them within the lesson, but I've not finished making the small size teddy bear yet. I have to finish making it until the next lesson. After the lesson, my teacher, my classmate Kimiko and me had lunch at a restaurant in the school building as usual.

Gonta's favorite place

I had lunch at my favorite cafe on my way to my father's home. I did the housework and I cooked food for Gonta as usual. Gonta was sleeping on the floor while I was doing the housework. He is almost always sleeping on the floor near the sofa. There is a gas-heater near the sofa, so the hot air drifted from the gas-heater to under the base of the sofa. He seemed to be happy, so I took a picture of him.

I took a cooking lesson from my friend in the morning. She taught her students and me how to cook " Simmered chicken dumpling and vegetable with Yuzu pepper", " Cooked rice with mushrooms and miso" and "Baked oysters with Yuzu and dried seaweed." All of the menus were traditional Japanese style, but they were really stylish! We took several pictures of them, and we enjoyed eating and talking. We had a good time together. I'm looking forward to the next lesson.

My lesson

I gave a lesson on aromatherapy and a herbal lesson in the afternoon. I taught my student Miyoko how to make a clay facial mask this time, too. She enjoyed making it. After the lesson, I served some sweets and a cup of herbal tea for her. We enjoyed talking for a while.

Gonta

I had lunch at my favorite cafe on my way to my father's home. I did the housework and I cooked food for Gonta as usual. When I was wiping the stairs, Gonta was looking down me. He seemed to be haughty, so I took a picture of him. Then I walked him and I played with him a lot as usual.

Ginkgo festival

My husband and I went to Meiji Jingu gaien Ginkgo festival in the afternoon. Almost all of the Ginkgo leaves had turned yellow, so the trees were really beautiful. There were many people, so I pointed my mobile phone lens upward and I took many pictures of the tree. Then we bought two hot sake-manju and two cup of hot coffee at a stand. There were many food stands and some miscellaneous goods stands. We enjoyed eating and we enjoyed watching some stands.

the scenery of Shakujii park

I met my friend Mika at the south exit of Shakujii park station. We went to her favorite restaurant where she had reserved a table. We ordered two special lunch courses. We enjoyed eating and talking for about two hours. Then we enjoyed walking in Shakujii park. Almost all of the trees had turned yellow and red. The park had many beautiful spots, so while talking I took many pictures of the scenery sometimes. We kept walking for about one hour, so we were a little tired. We went to a coffee shop near Shakujii park station. We took a rest, and we enjoyed talking again. We talked and talked to our heart's content. We had a wonderful time together.

Itabashi zoo for children

My husband and I went to our favorite Chinese noodle shop in the afternoon. Then we enjoyed walking. I found the sign of Itabashi zoo for children by chance. We have never visited the zoo, so we tried to go to the place. The zoo is a really small space, but there were many kinds of animals. For example, rabbits, squirrels, guinea pigs, goats, horses, sheep and flamingos. The sheep and goats were free in the space. My husband said to me,"Hey,touch the sheep. It is real wool! But it was a little bit oily." So I tried touching the sheep carefully. I guessed his saying was true. I took several pictures of the animals. We enjoyed watching the animals for a while.

My lesson

I gave a lesson on aromatherapy and a hand sewing lesson in the afternoon. I taught them how to make a hand-cream. The cream was made from some bees-wax,some mango-butter, some sweet-almond oil and some drops of some essential oils. All of my students enjoyed making the cream. I guessed the cream will be useful for winter. Then I taught them how to make a Christmas tree and a small wall hanging. The small wall hanging was last lesson's theme, because three members of class were absent. While talking they enjoyed making the Christmas tree or small wall hanging.

I went to my customer's home in the afternoon. I took a rest at a coffee shop near the home prior to my appointment time.Then I went out the coffee shop, and I was walking on a bridge on my way to my customer's home. It was a really fine day, so the view from the bridge was wonderful. I stopped walking and I took a picture of the view. Then I went to my customer's home, and I did the specific health guidance for her.

Gonta

I had lunch at my favorite cafe on my way to my father's home. Gonta was waiting for me at the entrance,too. I gave him a dog's toy which I bought at a 100yen shop before. He stared at it for a while, and then he touched it timidly. While I did the housework, he was absorbed in playing with the toy. I walked him to a river near my father's home. Then I played with him and his new toy. He was in high spirits all the time. When I prepared for going back home, he was dozing off. He seemed to be happy, so I took a picture of him.

preparing for my lesson

I stayed at home all day. I made a text book for my hand-sewing lesson. Then I prepared for the lesson. I traced many parts on some pieces of cloth with several patterns and I cut them out. While watching TV I prepared for the lesson. Then I packed those which I cut out and many gold  beads into a plastic bag for each of my students.

I stayed at home all day. I did the housework in the morning. After lunch, I made a sample for my hand-sewing lesson. The sample is a Christmas tree. While making it I watched TV. I finished making it in the evening. It took 4 days to make. I took a picture of it, and  I sent an e-mail attached picture to my students. I hope they will like the Christmas tree.

cute dolls

My husband and I went to the used book festival in Kanda in the afternoon. I'm looking forward to the festival every year, so I go to the event every time. There were many people, so it was hard to walk. I stopped by at a stationary shop and I found some cute wooden dolls. I bought two dolls impulsively. Then we enjoyed shopping and window-shopping for a while. I was really tired of walking, so we took a rest at a cafe.

My lesson

I gave a lesson on aromatherapy and herbal lesson in the afternoon. I taught my students about a Lavender Tea-tree. The plant is one of Australia's plants, and the fragrance is similar to Lavender. Then I taught them how to make a clay facial mask. They enjoyed making it. After the lesson, I served them a cup of herbal tea and some sweets as usual. We enjoyed talking for a while.

The menus of the lesson were "Boiled beef, tofu, onion and green onion with mirin, soy sauce, sugar and soup", "Mixed cucumber and pork with miso vinegar mustard" and "earthen teapot boiled matsutake". After her students and me cooked them, we took pictures of them as usual. We enjoyed eating and talking all the time. We had a wonderful time together.

Gonta

I had lunch at my favorite cafe, and then I went to my father's home. I did the housework and I cooked food for Gonta as usual. It was cooler than recently, so Gonta was really fine. I walked him, and I played with him more than usual. When I went back home, he was almost sleeping.He seemed to be laughing, so I took a picture of him.

She taught her students and me how to cook "Bontio in carpaccio with Shimeji mushrooms source", "Pottage of soybeans", "Roasted eggplants in miso soup"and"A bowl of rice topped with salty chicken and eggs". These menus were casual, but all of them were really stylish. Her students and me took several pictures of them after cooking. We enjoyed eating and talking all the time.

My lesson

I gave a lesson on aromatherapy and a hand-sewing lesson in the afternoon. Three of my students were absent in the class, so my student Shizuko and Hiroko were disappointed. But they changed the mood, and they enjoyed taking my lesson. It was a relief for me. First I taught them how to make a clay facial mask. Next I taught them how to make a small wall hanging. It was difficult to sew, so I taught them more carefully than usual. After the lesson, I served a cup of herbal tea and some sweets to them. We enjoyed talking for a while.

All of my students enjoyed making the gel cream this time, too. After the lesson, I served a cup of herbal tea and some sweets to them. We enjoyed talking and we spent a good time together.

in Niihama

The sixth anniversary of my husband's grandmother's death was held in a temple. After the chief priest said a sutra for his grandmother, my husband, my husband's mother, his relatives and me went to the memorial. We visited his grandmother's tomb. Then we went to Japanese restaurant where my husband's mother had reserved a room. We enjoyed eating the special lunch. After we went to my husband's mother's home, my husband and I walked near the home with his nephews and nieces. His nephews and nieces enjoyed playing along the seashore for a while. I took several pictures of them. My husband and I went out from my husband's mother's home at 4:00p.m. We went back home at 11:30p.m. I guessed that it was a really long distance from our home to my husband's home.

I made my homework teddy bear again. I managed to finish making it before lunch. I was happy, so I took a picture of it. Then I prepared for my hand-sewing lesson. While watching TV I traced many parts on several pieces of cloth with 2 kinds of square patterns for a small wall hanging, and I cut them out. I kept preparing it except during supper time. I finished preparing it at midnight. I was really tired and I had a stiff neck, but it was a relief for me to finish it.

My lesson

My student Miyoko came to my home in the afternoon. I gave a lesson on aromatherapy and a herbal lesson in the afternoon. I taught her how to make a gel cream for body and face this time,too. After the lesson, I served her a cup of herbal tea and some sweets.
