a butterfly

I went to my father's home in the afternoon. I found a beautiful butterfly in the garden. So I took a picture of it. Gonta followed me and he looked at me while I was taking a picture of it. So I took a picture of him, too.

The Bon Festival's goods

I went to my father's home in the afternoon. I got the Bon Festival goods which I ordered at a Buddhist goods shop near my house. I checked a paper lantern and a couple of lamps. The couple of lamps are so beautiful, so I displayed them in my mother's altar room. The Bon Festival will come soon.

Taketomi island

Today was the last day of our trip. I felt like more staying here, but I couldn't. My husband and I boarded a ferry from Ishigaki island to Taketomi island. It took about 10 minutes. Then we got on a boat. The bottom of the boat was a plate of glass, so we could see inside of the sea. We saw coral and many beautiful tropical fish. Then we enjoyed cycling. We sometimes dropped in some tourist attractions and we took many pictures. There was many beautiful scenery, so we were moved by them. We got home at 0:00a.m. We were so tired, but we spent a good time. I want to go to the isolated islands of Okinawa again.

Hateruma island

My husband and I boarded a ferry from Ishigaki island to Hateruma island. Hateruma island is the most southern place in Japan. The ferry was heavily rocked by the waves, so many people got seasick, but we were fine. We enjoyed cycling all day. The island had a lot of beautiful scenery, so we took many pictures.

Iriomote island

My husband and I boarded a ferry from Ishigaki island to Iriomote island. We took part in Iriomote island's group tour. Our boat trip down the Urauchi river was lovely. We enjoyed walking in the hills and we saw the Maridyu Falls and Kanpirey Falls. They were so beautiful, so I was moved by them. After lunch, we got on a water buffalo two-wheeled cart, and we went to Yufu island. The water buffalo's name was Gonta. My father's dog's name is Gonta, so I had friendly feelings toward him. We visited the Yufu island botanical garden. There were many tropical plants, so I took many  pictures of them. After the group tour, we went to a place with live Okinawa music.

Ishigaki island

My husband and I left home at 8:00a.m. We got to the Haneda airport at 9:30a.m. We had a little time, so we took a rest. Then we flew to Naha. We got to the Naha airport at 1:00p.m. We were starving, so we had lunch until our next flight. Then we flew to Ishigaki island. We got to the airport at 3:00p.m, and we went to our hotel by taxi. It took about 15 minutes. We were strolling along the seafront around Ishigaki island harbor. We saw a rainbow for a long time, so he photographed it.
