Sakura

My husband and I went to his favorite Chinese noodle shop in Nakaitabashi in the afternoon. We had a late lunch. It was rainy and windy, but we went to watch the cherry blossoms to Shakujii river. The cherry blossoms were almost in full bloom. I took several pictures of them. We enjoyed walking for about 40 minutes. We took a rest at my favorite cafe, and we ordered 2 cake sets. We're going to go to watch the cherry blossoms again on Saturday.

My lesson

I gave a lesson on aromatherapy and a hand-sewing lesson in the afternoon. I taught my students how to make the herb eye-pillow.They enjoyed making it all the time. Then I taught them how to make a pair of coasters in the shape of battledore. I was going to teach how to make the coasters to them in January, but I didn't. Because almost all of the students were absent from my lesson, so I decided to postpone the lesson. After the lesson, I served a cup of herbal tea and some sweets to them. We enjoyed talking for a while.

 

a cooking lesson

I went to my friend home to take a cooking lesson in the afternoon. She taught her students and me how to cook "scallop, Japanese radish and celery mixed salad", "burdock salad with Chinese chive dressing", "simmered chicken and Japanese radish", and " ginger and deep-fried bean curd rice". The menus used a lot of vegetables, so they were healthy. After we cooked them, we took several pictures of them as usual. We enjoyed eating and talking for a while. I'm looking forward to the next lesson.

 

 

Sakura

I went to my father's home in the afternoon. I did the housework and I cooked food for Gonta as usual. I walked him to a river near my father's home to watched the cherry blossoms. The cherry blossoms had started blooming. I'm looking forward to watching cherry trees in full bloom. I took several pictures the cherry buds and blossoms. We enjoyed walking for about one hour.

After supper, I made the sample of my hand-sewing lesson again. I finally finished making it late at night. It was a relief for me, and I took a picture of it.

I stayed at home all day. I made a sample for my hand-sewing lesson. I made it before, but I didn't like it. Because it was a little bit complicated to sew. I checked the sample design again, and I changed the design a little. I didn't finish making it yet, so I'm going to make it tomorrow.

My lesson

My student Miyoko came to my home in the afternoon. I gave a lesson on aromatherapy and a herbal lesson to her. I taught her how to make the herb eye-pillow. Her herb eye-pillow fragrance was woody undertone. It was a wonderful fragrance, so it will be useful for a good sleep. She enjoyed making the herb eye-pillow all the time. After the lesson, I served a cup of herbal tea to her and I served some sweets to her. We enjoyed talking for a while.

My lesson

I gave a lesson on aromatherapy and a herbal lesson in the afternoon. I taught my student Masae and Naoko how to make hand cream this time, too. Masae's hand cream had sweet fragrances, so I guessed it was suitable for relaxing. Naoko's handcream had fresh fragrances, so I guessed it was suitable for refreshing. Both of the hand creams were gorgeous, so they liked their hand creams. After the lesson, I made herbal tea and I served it to them. We enjoyed talking for a while.

 

in Niihama

My husband's father's 6-year memorial service was held in a temple in the morning. The sub-chief priest said a sutra for my husband's father, and then the sub-chief priest gave a lecture for my husband, his mother, his relatives and me. The sub-chief priest is still young, but he has real consideration for others and he is a really nice person. Then we left the temple, and we visited my husband's father's tomb. My husband's grandfather and grandmother belong to the tomb, too. Then we went to a Japanese restaurant where my husband's mother had reserved a room. We enjoyed eating the special lunch course. After we went to his mother's home, my husband, my husband's sister's husband, his nephews, his nieces and me walked near the home. We enjoyed playing along the seashore, and I enjoyed taking pictures of them. We had a good time together. Then my husband and I flew to Tokyo at night.
