preparation of my lesson

I stayed at home all day. I made a sample for my sewing lesson. I traced some parts on some pieces of cloth with their patterns, and I cut them out in the morning. After lunch, I was started on sewing the sample. It was not as easy as I thought, so I sewed it until quite late. But I've not completed sewing it yet. I'm going to sew it again this Wedenesday.

I  bought a box lunch at a convenience store on my way to my father's home. I did the housework and I cooked food for Gonta as usual. I looked for some pieces of my mother's cloth in my mother's room after I walked him. There were many pieces of the cloth, so it was really difficult to choose from them. But I managed to choose some pieces of the cloth.

I was thinking about my next sewing lesson from yesterday, so I checked a file of my mother's works. I hit on an idea suddenly. I traced my mother's patterns on a piece of paper at once. I cut them out and I arranged them. Then I put a white ribbon under them, and I put several circle patterns which I had sewn before on the ribbon. I'll try to make a wall hanging. I'm going to look for some pieces of my mother's cloth in my father's home tomorrow.

My friends

I  met my friend Mika, Youko and Junko at the south exit of Shakuji Kouen. They are old friends from high school. We had a special lunch time at my friend Mika's favorite restaurant near Shakuji lake. The restaurant is really nice and cozy. We enjoyed talking and eating for about 2 hours. Then we went to my friend Mika's favorite cafe. The cafe is nice and cozy, too. I gave them 3 bottles of room fragrance which I had made yesterday. They liked them, so I was happy. They gave some souvenir sweets from their trips. We enjoyed talking there, too. We spent a good time together.

The presents for my friends

I  made 3 bottles of room fragrance for my friends as presents. I put 3 drops of sandalwood essential oil,3drops of lavender essential oil, 2 drops of rose absolute oil and 2 drops of roman chamomile essential oil into 40 percent alchol vodka. The liquid was interesting and beautiful, so I took a picture of them before I mixed them. I'll give them to my friends tomorrow. I hope that they will like them.

My lesson

I gave a lesson on aromatherapy and a hand sewing lesson in the afternoon. First I taught my students how to make a spray bottle of body lotion for deodorant. Next I taught them how to sew a jewelry box. All of my students watched the sample and they really liked it. They enjoyed sewing and chatting. They and I spent a good time.

I made a sample for my aromatherapy and a herbal lesson. It is a spray bottle of body lotion for deodorant. I used lavender water, vodka and some drops of essential oils to make it. Then I made 2 text books for my hand sewing lesson and my aromatherapy lesson. I finally finished to make them at night. It was relief for me.

I stayed at home all day. I prepared for my sewing lesson. I traced many parts on some pieces of cloth with their patterns, and then I cut them out for my students. I wondered how many I cut them out, so I counted up all of them. There were 150 parts which I had cut ! Then I packed them for my students.

day trip

My husband and I went to Shibamata by train. The place is famous for "Tora-san". Tra-san is a main character of the famous Japanese movie series, and his hometown is Shibamata. There were many shops along the approach to the temple called Taishakuten. We visited Taishakuten and we appreciated pay garden in the temple. My husband was absorbed in taking many pictures of the scenery.
