a cooking lesson

I went to my friend home to take a cooking lesson in the morning. She taught her students and me how to cook "simmered potato with soybean paste", "chicken was dressing and Japanese herbs in a Japanese plum sauce", "bamboo shoot rice", and "milk cinnamon jelly". The jelly one of Sicily's local dishes, and it used cornstarch instead of gelatin. We enjoyed cooking them all the time. We finished cooking, and we took several pictures of them. While eating we enjoyed talking. I'm looking forward to the next lesson.
